Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi is back in training and could be selected to face Tottenham FC at the King Power stadium in one of the Premier league matches this weekend.

Disclosing this at a press conference heralding the encounter, Leicester City manager Brenden Rodgers said the likes of Wilfred Ndidi, Jonny Evans, Boubakare Soumare and Daniel Amartey are fully recovered from their injuries and are available for selection.

Ndid has been sidelined for 3 weeks. He was not included in the 2-2 home draw against Brighton and Hove Albion, the 4-2 away win against Aston Villa, and the 1- 0 away win against Walsall in the FA cup fourth round.

Rodgers also stressed that the players will help balance the team against a formidable side like Tottenham.

“All players have to be competitive. You need one controlling the game from behind. You need a running player who can break the lines with and without the ball. Then you need one who can create and score. All three have to run. I always like to have more midfield players. That’s where the game begins. It sets you up. We have choices in there,” Rodgers added.

The Foxes currently occupy the 14th position with 21 points from 21 matches, 3 points above the relegation zone.

Leicester City needs at least 40 to 42 points to remain in the Premier League next season.
