Nigeria will face the Desert Foxes of Algeria on September 27 in a high-pressure friendly schedule. Still, the Portuguese coach must now cope with an injury-ravaged team against their continental archenemy.
Emmanuel Dennis and Samuel Chukwueze join the Super Eagles’ injury list and will miss the game with Algeria.
Chukwueze and Dennis are injured and will miss the highly anticipated friendly against the two-time African champions.
Dennis is a late call-up for Adana Demirspor’s wide-attacker Henry Onyekuru, who was sidelined earlier by injury.
Another possible doubt for the approaching encounter with the Dessert Foxes is captain Ahmed Musa who battles his injury in a recent Club game to be fit for the tie with Algeria.
Nigeria’s influential forward, Victor Osimhen, is currently out with injury.
