It’s been a wild week between DYNAMITE and RAMPAGE, but the action rolls on as All Elite Wrestling brings the fights to your Saturday night with an all-new COLLISION! Featuring TNT Champion Jack Perry defending his title against “The Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels, we will also see The Beast Mortos team with Premier Athletes to take on Hologram and The Conglomeration, the return of Yuka Sakazaki as she looks to settle an old score with Serena Deeb, as well as a trios fight between Bang Bang Gang and Cage of Agony!

Queen Aminata will also be in action against Robyn Renegade while the trio of Private Party and Komander look to pick up a win in their first outing as a unit! All that and more is coming your way tonight when COLLISION drops beginning at 8pm ET/7pm CT on TNT! Then All Elite Wrestling is off to Wilkes-Barre, PA for next Wednesday’s live episode of DYNAMITE where Chris Jericho and Orange Cassidy go one-on-one for the first time in four years!

TNT Championship Match:

Jack Perry(c) vs. Christopher Daniels

It’s been four months since “The Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels last wrestled inside an AEW ring; that night he and Matt Sydal were defeated by The Young Bucks in a World Tag Team Title Eliminator match, and shortly thereafter The EVPs elected to fire CD.

AEW CEO Tony Khan made the choice to bring Daniels back to the fold, not in his previous position as coach, but as an Interim EVP in the wake of Kenny Omega’s absence due to the double-blow of diverticulitis and being assaulted by his apparently former Elite brothers. Daniels has not made life easy on The Young Bucks nor the rest of The Elite, in fact if it wasn’t for his interventions, Matthew and Nicholas Jackson would’ve just handed the TNT Championship over to Jack Perry following Adam Copeland’s injury instead of “The Scapegoat” having to earn it in the FORBIDDEN DOOR 2024 Ladder Match.

Tonight on COLLISION that decision comes full circle as Daniels himself has stepped up to to answer Jack Perry’s TNT Title Open Challenge! Now Jack and CD have a wealth of experience facing one another, but all in tag team, trios, and multi-man bouts, they’ve never faced off one-on-one prior to tonight, nor has “The Fallen Angel” stepped into the ring with “The Scapegoat”. What Daniels knows is “Jungle Boy”, the happy-go-lucky youth who stood with Luchasaurus and Marko Stunt in the early days of AEW. He knows the Jurassic Express trio he faced at the first ALL OUT in 2019, as well as during the premiere edition of AEW DARK, the kid he teamed up with at THE HOUSE ALWAYS WINS in April 2021, and who he hasn’t faced off with since DYNAMITE: BLOOD & GUTS 2021.

That being said, Daniels has watched this transformation occur in Jack Perry, he’s been on top of the situation from an official standpoint as he did his best to manage the AEW landscape after The Elite assaulted Tony Khan. He’s watched Perry try to hang himself up as some martyr for All Elite Wrestling,  but “The Fallen Angel” is here tonight to pull Jack down off his cross and pull the TNT Championship out of his hands!

Christopher Daniels has been a highly decorated champion throughout his 31 year career, but in All Elite Wrestling he has thus far been unable to capture a singles championship. Will tonight be the night that changes when CD gets his first TNT Title opportunity in 18 months?

Trios Match:

Hologram & The Conglomeration (ROH World Champion Mark Briscoe & Kyle O’Reilly) vs. Premier Athletes (Ariya Daivari & Tony Neese) and The Beast Mortos

It’s been a busy week for The Conglomeration, and Orange Cassidy in particular, starting with ALL OUT 2024. Mark Briscoe and OC both took part in the Continental Championship Four-Way match in Chicago last Saturday, then they came to DYNAMITE on Wednesday to dump some humiliation on Chris Jericho and his Learning Tree, were victorious in trios action on RAMPAGE over Dark Order, then OC took a trip to Mexico to participate in CMLL’s 91 ANIVERSARIO event, leaving his other two compatriots to compete tonight on COLLISION with a new third man at their side!

Hologram has been on fire since debuting in AEW during the Arlington, TX residency, scoring eight consecutive wins (three singles, two tags, and three trios) and wowing audiences with his high-flying style. He previously united with Kyle and OC to great success over The Beast Mortos, Johnny TV, and Lee Moriarty, now he’s stepping into the ring with O’Reilly and Mark Briscoe to face two of the Premier Athletes and, once again, The Beast Mortos. There’s definitely a rivalry building between these two luchadors, especially since Hologram also holds a singles victory over the monster, but can he get a third victory on Mortos, or will his partnership with Ariya Daivari and Tony Neese payoff where Johnny TV and Lee Moriarty did not? Will this be the night Hologram is handed his first loss, or will he continue to blaze forward on this unbeaten streak with The Conglomeration as his allies?

AEW World Trios Champion Wheeler Yuta vs. Anthony Henry

We have not heard from Wheeler Yuta since he broke down in tears watching Jon Moxley’s cold-blooded attack on Bryan Danielson during ALL OUT 2024. We don’t know where his head is at or which side of these apparent battle lines he sits, but what we do know is that the 3-Time ROH Pure Champion is scheduled to compete tonight against Anthony Henry. The two men met during ROH ON HONOR CLUB #75 six weeks ago, a bout won by Yuta, but that was before he watched The Blackpool Combat Club seemingly disintegrate in front him barely two weeks after they won the AEW World Trios Titles. There are far more questions than answers about this situation, especially about the status of those championships, but Yuta better find a way to focus on the task at hand or this Workhorsemen is going to dismantle him…

Trios Competition:

Bang Bang Gang (Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn, & Juice Robinson) vs. Cage of Agony (Bishop Kaun, Brian Cage, & Toa Liona)

Speaking of the AEW World Trios Championship, there are plenty of teams on the hunt for them, especially after watching the wedge driven between the three men who currently hold them, but that means getting into a position to be a championship challenger. Two of those teams are Bang Bang Gang and Cage of Agony, and tonight during COLLISION they will clash for the very first time! Bishop Kaun, Brian Cage, and Toa Liona have done this dance with The Gunns and Jay White before, in fact they lost the ROH World Six-Man Title to them back in January, but this is the first time they’ve done it with Juice Robinson in the mix, and it’s quite a different ballgame with that x-factor involved!

According to Juice, it’s all about the wins and building momentum in the Trios division, so by that logic right now the BBG are in the driver’s seat with two consecutive AEW victories while CoA lost their last AEW trios outing but scored victory in the two previous. With both teams jockeying for position, who will step up as potential challengers to Wheeler Yuta, Claudio Castagnoli, and “The Bastard” PAC?

Return to Action:

Yuka Sakazaki vs. Serena Deeb

Months ago it looked like Yuka Sakazaki and Serena Deeb were headed for a fight, but an injury suffered by Yuka in her April 20th victory over Emi Sakura derailed their confrontation. Five months later, Yuka Sakazaki has been cleared for competition and she wants to pick up right where she left off with Serena Deeb! “The Professor” is coming into this after coming up short in the TBS Championship #1 Contenders Four-Way while Sakazaki has won her last five AEW singles matches, and seven in a row overall! Can Yuka make her return to action a victorious one, or will Deeb put her right back on the shelf for another five months?

Tag Team Grudge Match:

FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood) vs. Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake & Zack Gibson)

At ALL OUT: LONDON 2024 James Drake and Zack Gibson, collectively the Grizzled Young Veterans, made a tremendous impact on the AEW tag team division by assaulting Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler following their loss to The Young Bucks. It wasn’t GYV’s first time on the AEW, that came in a loss to The Acclaimed back in April, but this was by far more impactful. In the few weeks since Wembley, GYV and FTR have been thorns in each other’s side, with Drake and Gibson being completely taken out of Tag Team Casino Gauntlet by Cash and Dax, robbing them of any possibility of earning a World Tag Title match at DYNAMITE: GRAND SLAM in two weeks.

Tonight on COLLISION these fast enemies will go to war for the very first time, though given the animosity already built between the four it will likely not be the last! Will we see GYV even the score for DYNAMITE and the Casino Gauntlet, or will the 2-Time AEW World Tag Champions show Drake and Gibson why many consider them the greatest team in wrestling today?

ALSO FEATURING:

-Komander & Private Party (Isiah Kassidy & Marq Quen) in trios action!

-Queen Aminata vs. Robyn Renegade

-And more!
