Iheanacho, Duru, and now Uzoho in Camp
Super Eagles now have a full complement of players with the late arrivals of goalkeeper Francis Uzoho and defender Ebube Duru to the Nigerian camp in Constantine, Algeria.
Nigeria’s Super Eagles will meet Desert Warriors of Algeria on Friday and Tuesday, September 27, in Algeria, in a doubleheader international friendly.
Nigerian got a full house of her players on Wednesday morning as Uzoho, who plays in Cyprus with Omonia Nicosia, and Nigeria-based Ebube with Rivers United breezed into the Super Eagles camp in Constantine.
The late arrivals mean that Nigeria head coach Jose Peseiro can fully account for all 24 invited players in his camp before the two friendly games against Algeria.
Uzoho and Ebube missed the team’s morning training but will now participate in the evening training outing on Wednesday.
Leicester City of England forward Kelechi Iheanacho also arrived at the team’s camp the same day ahead of Uzoho and Ebube.
