Dotun Coker is sure his state’s teams will play in the football event finals of the National sports festival

Dotun Coker, technical committee chairman of the Lagos State Football Association (LSFA), says the state male and female teams are now battle-ready for the forthcoming national sports festival In Delta state later this month.
In an interview with Sports Joust, Coker hints that their target is to play in the final of the festival’s male and female football events.
“With the level of preparation and support from the sports commission, we aim to play in the final. We’ll also work harder to beat the would-be opponents in the final,” he adds.
Coker further disclosed that both teams would play five friendly matches against top-selected sides in Lagos before traveling to Delta, adding that the male team will take on Messiah FC at the Teslim Balogun stadium this weekend.
“The Players are drawn from the nationwide league, The FA cup, the Football league, and the state-endorsed private league to form a balanced team,” he adds.
The Lagos state male team won a silver medal at the last festival held in Edo state.
The 21st National Sports Festival will commence on November 28 and ends on December 10, 2022.
