WWE NXT Results: Quick Hits

Jordynne Grace def. Stevie Turner

The TNA Knockouts Champion lived up to the hype and more as Jordynne Grace demolished Stevie Turner before her matchup with NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez at Battleground.

Grace knocked Turner all around the ring and the British Superstar could sustain any offense as one Juggernaut Driver secured the victory.

After the match, Perez got into the ring, shoved Grace, and nearly was slammed to the mat before she got out of dodge.

Jazmyn Nyx def. Thea Hail

The turmoil surrounding Chase U spelled bad news for Thea Hail Jazmyn Nyx picked up a huge win.

Hail was on a mission in the early going, targeting the formerly injured left shoulder of Nyx, but it wasn’t long before the former soccer star used her supreme kicks to gain an advantage.

A Kimura Lock was perfectly applied by Hail, but Nyx grabbed a hold of the official and once Hail loosened it for just a moment, Nyx cracked with her signature Pele Kick to walk out as the victor.

NXT Heritage Cup Champion Tony D’Angelo def. Damon Kemp

The NXT Heritage Cup, or the Italian Heritage Cup as Tony D’Angelo calls it, is staying with the D’Angelo family as The Don defeated Damon Kemp in just four rounds.

The first round went to Tony D as he caught Kemp with a Fisherman Suplex, giving him the early lead. Round two ended in a draw, but the two Superstars had to be pulled apart by their teams after the bell.

Round three was scoreless as well, but Kemp was beaten by the bell as his Death Valley Driver didn’t give him enough time to get a pin.

Round four ended in a flash as The Don planted Kemp with a huge slam, allowing him to retain his cup.

Natalya def. Izzi Dame

Natalya made a surprise appearance in NXT to fill in for her injured friend Karmen Petrovic, and just hours after a tough loss to Kiana James on Monday Night Raw, she bounced back in a big way.

It wasn’t easy for the decorated Superstar, but she withstood the powerful Dame’s best shot and kept rising to her feet.

Dame looked like she was in control, but the crafty veteran flipped her hips and rolled her opponent to get the victory.

Michin, Sol Ruca, & Jaida Parker def. Kelani Jordan, Lash Legend, & Fallon Henley – Six-Woman Tag Team Match

All six Superstars in the NXT Women’s North American Champions Ladder Match at Battleground faced off in a Six-Woman Tag Team Match with everyone looking for their own momentum heading into the weekend.

Jaida Parker showed up and showed out, using her aggressive offense to plant Kelani Jordan, but the disagreements between all of the Superstars became too great to ignore.

As everyone turned on each other, Lash Legend inadvertently found herself in prime position for a Sol Snatcher from Sol Ruca.
