Wins AEW World Title, MJF Returns
CM Punk is your new AEW World Champion following the All Out 2022 pay-per-view event, Ryan Clark reports for EWRESTLING News.
In the main event, CM Punk defeated Jon Moxley in a match that featured lots of blood. The finish came when Punk hit the GTS on Moxley to capture the AEW World Championship.
As Punk was celebrating his win, the lights in the arena went out. Some audio of a phone call was played featuring Tony Khan’s voice telling “someone” that they were screwing over the fans and he had one more offer to make. Khan said if the person returned to AEW at All Out, he would be in the Casino Ladder Match.
Following the taped phone call, The Joker appeared in a video and unmasked to reveal himself to be MJF.
MJF’s music then hit and he came out to the top of the ramp to have a stare-down with CM Punk to end the show.
