FIFA has accused Saudi Arabia’s Al Nassr for failure to pay Leicester City €460k in addition to accruing interest in performance-linked add-ons and has now barred the Saudi club from making new signings.
Musa, 30, moved to Al-Nassr in 2018 for a fee of £14 excluding add-ons tied to his performance and exited the club two years later after playing 50 matches and scoring nine times.
FIFA has officially announced that the Saudi side have failed to pay €460k (£390k) plus interest in performance-related add-ons to the 2016 Premier League champions that accrued from their acquisition of the Nigerian captain.
The ruling was released in 2021 by FIFA clearly forbidding the Saudi outfit from signing new superstars if they fail to pay to Leicester the entire amount.
The ban would apply to both domestic and international moves indicating that the Saudi side can’t sign players from Europe.
Musa moved from Al Nassr to Karagumruk in the Turkish Super League in 2020.
