In Kigali from July 28 to August 6

A Rwanda news outlet News-Times reports that Rwanda has been granted the hosting right for the 2023 Women’s Afrobasketball Championship.
Nigeria’s D’Tigress are the winners of the previous edition of the Women’s AfroBasket in Cameroon in 2021.
The Nigerians won the tournament after beating Mali 70-59 in the final competition.
“FIBA has confirmed that the Women’s Afrobasket tournament 2023 will be held in Kigali. We will be signing the hosting agreement in July”, the News-Times stated.
The 2023 edition is slated for July 28 to August 6.
