Nigeria and Zambia contend for no more than the third place prize Friday night at the Stade Mohammed V at the 2022 Wafcon tournament in Morocco. The head-to-head engagements involving the sides has Super Falcons winning their previous three encounters against the Copper Queens, scoring 10 goals without a reply.

Grace Chanda with four goals involvements for Zambia in Morocco so far (two goals and two assists) hunts on for the golden boots price and may yet have the final say in who wins third place this year. The Super Falcons defence setup has to step up to be able to contain Zambia’s attacking midfield pearl.

Zambia enter the fray with a better form than Nigeria’s having lost just once compared to two losses to their opponents in five outings apiece in the ongoing Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.

Also, Nigeria must play Zambia without as many as four of their starters, including their captain, Onome Ebi) who are either lost to suspensions or injuries.
