AEW Dynamite and Collision Results

Must read

Allin Defies Moxley, Statlander and Storm Come to Blows, More

With just three days until AEW WrestleDream in St. Louis, we had three big hours of LIVE professional wrestling with AEW Dynamite and Collision in Kansas City on TBS and HBO Max!

Darby Allin and Jon Moxley had a very tense face-to-face meeting ahead of their “I Quit” match at WrestleDream that left Allin bloodied at the hands of PAC – although later in the night, Allin refused to stay down despite repeated attacks from the Death Riders. AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page watched from the commentary desk as his WrestleDream challenger, Samoa Joe, successfully defended the AEW World Trios Titles with The Opps. Page and Joe subsequently met in the ring, but kept the physicality for Saturday night.

Plus, the Famous Last Words from AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander and “Timeless” Toni Storm wound up as an agreed-upon fight between the two in the ring, Kenny Omega and Jurassic Express found common ground to beat the Don Callis Family and fought off an attack from the Young Bucks, and much more!

Here’s everything that happened on AEW Dynamite and Collision Title Tuesday for October 7, 2025, including your full results and match recaps.

We went back to this past Saturday on Collision, where Kota Ibushi was seriously injured because of a nasty fall in his match with Josh Alexander. As if that wasn’t enough, Mark Davis returned and attacked Ibushi to make the Don Callis Family even stronger until Kenny Omega ran him off. We were then reminded that Omega received an unexpected offer of support from “Jungle” Jack Perry because of their shared enemies, which set up tonight’s trios match with Omega and Jurassic Express teaming up to face the Family’s Davis, Hechicero and Josh Alexander!

Renee Paquette was sitting backstage with AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander and her challenger at WrestleDream, “Timeless” Toni Storm. As Paquette thanked them both for agreeing to no physicality, they began to disrobe, as if preparing for a fight. Renee yelled, “Enough,” as she took off her own jacket in frustration and cut off whatever was about to happen. She just wanted to find out where their heads were at before Saturday night.

Toni began, “Kris, it’s not you, it’s me. When I lost that title, I thought I’d feel freedom, a release of the years and tears I felt fighting for it. But I felt nothing. My canvas went blank. My heart only starts beating when I dream of winning it back. I am that title. Close your eyes and picture it, and it’s around this waist. I’ve done with that championship what no one else has done. And if that means fighting at my absolute best to take it away from a woman who I admire, then so be it. And if you are indeed my murderer, then so be that too. I don’t know who I am without that title, but darling, who are you?”

As the crowd gasped at that final question, Statlander confidently responded, “You’ve let this loss cause you to lose yourself, but you need to remember who you’ve been all along. Meanwhile, you’ve never been able to figure me out because I am constantly evolving. Who I am is a culmination of everything I was before. I’m already different than the person you faced at All Out. That was just a taste of who I will be. We are living in this world, and I am the champion of it. I am an extraordinary being. A killer as dangerous as the cosmos are large. A person who will outlive her doubters with her determination, her grit, her ability. And the most deserving of this prestige in this very moment no matter the timeline. So godspeed, Toni Storm, I will give you the rest you so deeply deserve.

Stom rose to her feet and put her hands on Statlander’s wrists, as she said, “Professional wrestling is a lie that reveals the truth. And we’ve told some ridiculous lies, but at WrestleDream we will find out the truth.”

Statlander stood up and responded, “Toni, you know the truth. You just have to accept it.”

Paquette tried to calm the tension, “OK, some very powerful words…”

Statlander said, “Is this interview over?” When Paquette confirmed it was, Storm said, “Good! Meet me in the ring!”

And with that, both Storm and Statlander removed their microphones and stormed away, as Renee helplessly watched them exit.

We went back to the commentary desk to assess what just happened, but the commentators were interrupted by Storm and Statlander heading down the aisle to get in the ring!

AND WE HAVE A FIGHT!

Storm took Statlander down with a Thesz Press and mounted her with punches, but Statlander bounced back up to hit Storm with a huge fireman’s carry slam!  As Statlander continued to get fired up, she turned around to see Storm handing her the AEW Women’s World Championship. Storm got down on her knees and offered a free shot with the title! Statlander refused, but she picked up Storm to continue the fight, so Storm knocked Statlander back with a headbutt. Statlander avoided a Storm Zero, but not a release German suplex, and now Storm was the one in control.

Statlander pulled a page out of Storm’s mind games playbook and handed her challenger the title to offer the same free shot while Statlander was on her knees! Storm reared back to swing, only to stop, put the title on Statlander’s shoulder and leave a kiss on her forehead.

As “Jungle” Jack Perry sat alone backstage, he had a message for Jurassic Express’ WrestleDream opponents, the Young Bucks.

“Bucks, I just wanna tell you, I don’t hate you. If I’m being fully honest, I love you guys, and I will always be grateful for everything you did for me, but when I needed you most, you didn’t pick up the phone. When I needed you most, you didn’t have my back. So I needed to look deep into my past to find somebody who would.”

That brought the snarl of Luchasaurus into the picture, who glared in a very menacing pose.

Coming off last week’s violent street fight, we’re set for another battle between The Hurt Syndicate and The Demand this Saturday at WrestleDream. Before that, though, the two sides met in tag action tonight in St. Louis.

Kaun and Benjamin began just as they ended last week, trading huge shots right in the middle of the ring. Benjamin gained early control and kept him in the wrong corner to allow Lashley to tag into the match. Lashley continued to grind down Kaun with a stalling suplex and shoulder thrusts, not letting him get close to Liona for a tag. Kaun tried to kick his way free, but Lashley answered right back, as the crowd expressed displeasure with being denied another Lashley-Liona showdown.

Kaun got free so that Liona could make a blind tag, but Lashley was ready for it and sent Liona immediately over the top to the outside. Ricochet distracted the referee so that Kaun could kick the middle rope into Lashley’s lower region. Liona took advantage and snatched Lashley off the apron right into a Samoan drop on the floor! The Demand continued the damage on the outside, using the guardrails and anything they could get away with, as Lashley struggled to fight back.

Finally, Lashley hit a desperation, overhead belly-to-belly suplex and made the tag to Benjamin! Liona tagged in Kaun on the other side, bringing us back to how this match started. Benjamin hit a splash in the corner and a high kick to stagger Kaun, but when he went for more, Ricochet jumped on the apron. Benjamin hit a step-up knee that made a sickening smack on Ricochet’s chin to send him sprawling to the floor.

Kaun rolled up Benjamin for a two, so Benjamin got up and hit two big release German suplexes, but Liona came in before he could hit a third. Benjamin dropped Liona with a pendulum DDT, only for Liona to get right back up! Liona then put Benjamin down with a headbutt. Lashley came back in and clotheslined Liona, who went outside!

Lashley followed Liona out and sprinted around the ring, but both men had the same idea with a clothesline and exploded in a heap when they connected! Back in the ring, Benjamin ran up the ropes and threw Kaun from the top. Before he could capitalize, Ricochet hit a Spirit Gun on Benjamin behind the referee’s back. MVP blasted Ricochet with his cane on the outside, but the damage was already done, which allowed Kaun to pin Benjamin for the victory! That’s the first pinfall loss for Benjamin and Lashley in AEW!

As Kaun celebrated, he never saw MVP get in the ring to smack him across the back with his cane. The Demand got him out of there to celebrate their victory, as Lashley and Benjamin stewed with MVP in the ring.

After a look back at Darby Allin’s surprise attack on Jon Moxley this past weekend at New York Comic Con, we saw the special face-to-face between Allin and Moxley from an undisclosed location earlier today.

With Allin waiting behind glass with a speaking screen surrounded by cement walls, Moxley entered the opposite side of the glass in a similar, separate room and spoke first.

“Heck of a situation we’ve got going on here. Let’s make sure we all understand the implications of an ‘I Quit’ match. In Toronto, there was zero chance you were going to put me in a coffin. The game was rigged. That was never gonna happen. This game is rigged in both directions. You will never quit. I’m certainly not going to quit. So what are we gonna do, man? I’m out of ideas. What do you wanna do? How’s this gonna end? If you want to be on the right side of history, it’s never too late…”

Allin cut him off, “It is, Jon. I wish I could, but I can’t. There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t think about joining the Death Riders. I understand the cause. I understand what it is you’re trying to do. But it’s you, it’s you I don’t respect. This is about Danielson. I saw what you did to him. Why would I want to go to war with somebody who can stab his brother in the back. Why would I would want to go to war with someone that finds someone so disposable, someone they consider family?

Moxley was incredulous and said, “Bryan? You’re still talking about Bryan? I did the best I could for Bryan Danielson. This is a war for the future of our sport. This is a war for the future of our craft, and sacrifices need to be made. Hard decisions have to be made. That isn’t tough for me? You don’t know what sacrifice is. You don’t know what it’s like to have weight on your shoulders. None of you do.”

Allin responded, “When I was on top of Everest, and I held that flag on top of the world, I saw AEW represents freedom. And I see what you’re doing. You’re slowly chipping away at everything that represents this place. Everything that makes this place special. And I’m gonna hang that flag in my house and remind myself every day what AEW gives me. But before I do, I’m gonna wrap it around your throat. And when you say the words ‘I quit’ at WrestleDream, all the Death Riders that blindly follow you are gonna realize that your words don’t mean a thing. And this whole operation you’re running is gonna come crashing down.”

Moxley, still calm, said, “It might not mean anything to you, Darby, but I have never lied to you. Your opponent at WrestleDream is not me. It never has been. It’s never the guy standing across from you, no. Every time you go to the ring, every time you climb a mountain, every time you jump your skateboard off the top of a building or a bridge, or you set yourself on fire and shoot yourself out of a cannon, you’re fighting ghosts. The spirits, demons of the past, whatever it is. Not my business. But I played that game. I played that game a lot. I fought a lot of ghosts, and it never ends well. Chasing highs, trying to prove to the world that you are indestructible in the most literal sense. That is a selfish game, and I am not selfish. The biggest difference between me and you going into WrestleDream is the thing you cannot get through your head. This is not about me!”

All of a sudden, PAC attacked Allin from behind, repeatedly slamming his head into the table. As Moxley almost ignored the sight of what was happening through the glass, PAC ragdolled Allin back and forth off the walls! He finished off his attack by ramming Allin into the glass over and over, as more and more of Allin’s blood was left to drip down. Moxley quietly left his room, as we saw PAC standing over the battered Allin.

As we returned to live action, Moxley, PAC, and Marina Shafir entered the arena from outside.

After those chilling events earlier today, Castagnoli came to the ring alone, as did Strong, with his partner Kyle O’Reilly in action later tonight alongside Orange Cassidy against Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia of the Death Riders.

Castagnoli and Strong grappled down to the mat and back up before Castagnoli fired off a huge uppercut. That staggered Strong for a moment, but he came right back with chops. Strong had the advantage in the corner, but another uppercut got Castagnoli right back in control. He stayed on Strong with headlocks, breaking them off when necessary to subdue Strong with strikes.

Strong got back up to his feet only for Castagnoli to hit a lunging boot, sending Strong to the floor. As Strong returned to the apron, Castagnoli met him, although neither man could execute a suplex, so Strong lured Castagnoli through the ropes and dropped him with a backbreaker on the edge of the ring! With Castagnoli struggling to get up, Strong went for a double boot under the second rope, but right into the waiting arms of Castagnoli. The anticipation allowed Castagnoli to swing Strong into the guardrail with a smack heard throughout the arena!

For the first time in the match, one of the two men had control for an extended period, as Castagnoli continued to wear out Strong with rapid-fire uppercuts in the corner. Strong showed signs of life with a dropkick, which allowed him the chance to recover. Castagnoli cut off Strong’s elbow strike combo to drop him with a clothesline for a two count. Another set of uppercuts in the corner led to a big slam, although Strong refused to stay down for three.

Strong fought through another swing attempt and battled back with some flying kicks to send Claudio outside. A second attempt at the double boots through the ropes found its mark on Castagnoli, so Strong followed him out for a high-angle backbreaker across the top of the guardrail!

Strong and Castagnoli went back and forth on the top rope, with Strong finally getting the best of the exchange when he dropped Castagnoli back-first across the top turnbuckle. Just when it looked like Strong had control, Castagnoli blocked a leaping knee attempt and shoved Strong up in the air to finish him off with an uppercut out of nowhere for the win! That’s his 100th win in AEW!

We were treated to a look at Don Callis’ birthday celebration, with almost all of his Family in attendance. As they serenaded him and sat to eat, Callis gave them a State of the Family address about their growing numbers translating to power. Before they got to gifts, TNT Champion “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher revealed a video message from Konosuke Takeshita, who said he would win the IWGP Heavyweight Championship from Zack Sabre Jr. for Callis. However, we never saw the end of his message because AEW Unified Champion “The Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada hit something on the remote to turn it off.

When Callis wondered what had happened, Okada responded, “I pressed the wrong button. I’m sorry.”

Callis said, “All good, boss.” And they all toasted to the Family.

We then saw highlights of Takeshita defeating Sabre Jr. to win the IWGP Heavyweight Championship this past weekend at NJPW King of Pro Wrestling 2025!

Omega waved off Jurassic Express to start the match and called for Alexander to join him. After thinking about it, Alexander let Hechicero start things with Omega.

Within a minute of the match starting, Hechicero caught Omega’s left leg in an awkward position and tried to stay on it with his impressive array of submission wrestling. Luckily, Omega recovered enough to launch himself onto Hechicero with a plancha to the outside, but when he went after Alexander, Davis was waiting to flatten Omega with a clothesline. Back in the ring, each member of the Family clotheslined Omega in the corner after Alexander tagged back in the match.

Alexander tried to target the left leg, but Omega fought him off and finally made a desperation tag to Perry! Perry and Luchasaurus made quick tags, showing fantastic teamwork to take down Alexander. Davis tagged in and shoulder-blocked Perry right out of the ring! Perry got stuck in the wrong corner, as all three members of the Family worked him over with no end in sight. A brief opening to make a tag was closed when Hechicero and Davis ran around the ring to take out Omega and Luchasaurus so that Perry couldn’t make a tag. Alexander trapped Perry in an ankle lock, although he was able to kick loose, but there was no one in his corner to tag!

Omega took his time walking up to the apron and reached out for the tag, which was met with a massive ovation from the Kansas City crowd! Omega hit the fireman’s carry into a moonsault, but it only got a two! Callis picked Omega’s ankle and hung on to hit a pair of German suplexes. Omega blocked a third and ran through Alexander with a huge knee, which looked like it would be enough only for Alexander to grab the rope to break the count just in time.

Luchasaurus and Davis tagged in to exchange huge shots before taking each other out with clotheslines. Perry came back in with a DDT on Alexander, only for Hechicero to put him down with a swinging hammerlock. Omega took out Hechicero with a knee, but Davis knocked Omega out of the way with a right hand. That brought us back to Davis and Luchasaurus, who stunned Davis with a big shot. Omega tagged back in and looked primed for a V-Trigger on Davis until Callis got off commentary and distracted him, long enough for Alexander to chop block his bad leg.

Davis tried to take Omega’s head off with a lariat, but Perry shoved Omega out of the way to take the bullet! With a chance to recover, Omega chopped away at Davis, but the bigger man stuffed Omega with a quick piledriver to get a two count. Hechicero came back and went for a cross armbreaker on Omega, which Alexander tried to defend, but he was chokeslammed by Luchasaurus onto Hechicero to break the hold! Omega showed no hesitation in making the tag to Perry and charged back across the ring to take out Davis with a knee.

Luchasaurus got Hechicero on his shoulders so Perry could hit a Doomsday Device for the win! Omega, Perry, and Luchasaurus celebrated until Matt and Nick Jackson ran out to attack! They dropped Luchasaurus with tandem superkicks and did the same to Perry! Omega looked stunned seeing this from the outside, but ran in to pull Perry away from further damage. The Young Bucks and Omega argued until the Jacksons turned around into a double clothesline from Luchasaurus. Omega, Perry, and Luchasaurus fought off the Family, with Perry getting some help from Luchasaurus to take them and the Bucks out with a moonsault!

Despite the vicious rivalry between Hayter and Triangle of Madness, this match started with some fundamental wrestling on the mat before Blue took the first big shot at Hayter, which only seemed to wake up Hayter. Blue had no chance trading shots with her, as Hayter both figuratively and literally flexed her strength, beating Blue down to the mat. She kept the punishment up with pointed elbow strikes and lit Blue up with 10 punches in the corner. A snap suplex got a two count, so Hayter followed with a second, and Blue bailed to the floor. Julia Hart stepped in Hayter’s way, so Blue took advantage with a thrust kick and then a dangerous neckbreaker from the apron! The numbers game was a crucial factor in the success of Triangle of Madness.

Blue slowed the pace down but didn’t give Hayter many chances to recover. A desperation suplex followed by a second-rope dropkick got Hayter rolling once again. After a clothesline in the corner, Hayter threw Blue with an exploder suplex and tried a pin to no avail. The two traded multiple reversals until Hayter finally hit the backbreaker across her knee she’d been looking for all match.

As Blue lured Hayter to the outside on the apron, she blasted Hayter with a knee, although her attempt to follow up was caught by Hayter on the floor and turned into a fallway slam, as Blue cried out in pain!  Hayter dropped Blue with a neckbreaker across her knee and a low clothesline, but Blue kicked out! Blue reversed a Hayterade attempt into Sliced Bread, which almost won the match.

Blue came off the ropes right into a huge clothesline, so Hayter finished her off with Hayterade and the pin for the win!

Thekla appeared somewhere in the back and was clapping. She said, “Congratulations! Not to you, but to me. Because look how far I’ve made it! Misunderstood in Europe. Kicked out of Japan. I’ve been around the world, Jamie, and I’m not impressed. The reason I attacked you in May was that you were just there. Wrong place at the wrong time, and now you are again. My game has no rules because my name means chaos, and my name means poison, baby, and on Saturday, it’s gonna get toxic to the core. So come on, Jamie. Impress me.”

With all 10 of her championships on display, TBS Champion Mercedes Moné spoke with Renee Paquette, suggesting she should now be called, “The greatest of all-time, Ultimo Moné.”

Renee tried to ask about WrestleDream, but Moné reminded her that she’s defending the CMLL Women’s Championship against Persephone in Arena México on Friday. But also on Friday, she’ll become the longest reigning TBS Champion in history at 509 days. Moné said she’ll be coming to WrestleDream with all 10 of her titles and as the longest reigning TBS Champion of all time!

AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page joined the commentary desk to watch his WrestleDream challenger, Samoa Joe, defend the AEW World Trios Titles against LFI.

Hobbs and Beast Mortos gave us plenty of beef to get things started, as Hobbs pounded away on Mortos with clotheslines in the corner, although that ended when a Dralístico distraction gave Mortos the chance to hit a slingblade to Hobbs from the middle rope! Hobbs came back with a jumping shoulder tackle, so one half of the ROH World Tag Team Champions, RUSH, tagged in for the first time. He called for the man who made the challenge for this match, Shibata, and got his wish with Hobbs making the tag. Shibata and RUSH went back and forth with strikes and chops before exchanging German suplexes. Shibata hit a desperation STO to put both men down, which brought Joe and Mortos into the match.

The crowd loved the face-off and came alive even more as Joe pounded away at Mortos in the corner. Shibata tagged back in and set up Mortos for a PK but made a detour with a big boot to RUSH on the apron. Dralístico and Mortos immediately jumped on Shibata until RUSH recovered to join in for a three-on-one attack, including a triple dropkick to put Shibata in big trouble.

Mortos and Dralístico hit a double-team wheelbarrow spear that bounced Shibata’s head off the bottom rope, yet he still kicked out in the nick of time. Dralístico tried to pound away at Shibata in the corner, but Shibata came firing out with a big boot and returned the favor with his own strikes. Hobbs tagged back in and put all three members of LFI in the corner.

Initially, RUSH booted his way out only to go down alongside Mortos at the hands of a Hobbs’ double clothesline. Hobbs caught Dralístico coming off the top rope and slammed him hard with the World’s Most Dangerous Slam. Hobbs tagged Joe, who looked like a man possessed as he hammered away on Dralístico. Dralístico found enough separation to get to the top rope, but jumped right into Joe’s waiting arms. With the Coquina Clutch locked in deep, Dralístico had no choice but to tap out.

Joe looked at Hangman from the apron, only for LFI to attack from behind, now with the other half of the ROH World Tag Team Champions, Sammy Guervara, giving them a four-on-three advantage. For some reason, RUSH spat at Hangman, so Page excused himself from the commentary desk and hit the ring to go after LFI. He nearly hit the Buckshot Lariat on RUSH, but Guevara pulled his partner from the ring. Joe picked up the AEW World Championship and slammed it into Page’s chest before leaving the ring to end the Dynamite portion of the evening, as we got ready for the final hour of the night with Collision!

This was the first time we’d seen Garcia and Yuta tag together as part of the Death Riders, even though they had history as rivals in ROH. Orange Cassidy and Yuta were about to start things off in a battle of former Best Friends, but Yuta decided against it, so Garcia took over. Garcia tried to show up Cassidy with his mat wrestling, so OC responded by busting out Garcia’s old dance. The frustration came out in Garcia, which OC was able to take advantage of so he could bring in O’Reilly.

Some beautiful Conglomerating resulted in Cassidy and O’Reilly chopping away at both Yuta and Garcia. When Garcia tried to pull Yuta out of the ring, they were both dropped by stereo suplexes on the floor. The Death Riders fought back by using the guardrails to punish their opponents, including a brainbuster to Cassidy on top of the barrier. In the ring, Garcia and Yuta rained down elbows on a wide-open O’Reilly, who had no one to tag. O’Reilly tried to fight back with kicks and eventually took both down with dragon screw leg whips. Cassidy tagged back in, and it was time to sink those hands deep in his pockets. Garcia and Yuta charged, but Cassidy was ready. He dropped Garcia with Sole Food and was ahead of both men every time they tried to attack, including a DDT to spike Yuta. Garcia floored OC with a blind side, so Cassidy came right back with a Beach Break that nearly put Garcia away!

Cassidy called for the Orange Punch on Garcia, only for Yuta to cut him off with a slam. As Jon Moxley made his way through the crowd, Cassidy hit a Stundog Millionaire on Yuta and then held him for O’Reilly to deliver a devastating kick. O’Reilly and Garcia jockeyed for position until O’Reilly locked in a dragon sleeper. At the same time, Cassidy knocked Yuta off the apron with an Orange Punch and followed that with a dive to the outside as Moxley watched from a short distance.

Back in the ring, Garcia tapped out, but the referee never saw it because he was distracted by Marina Shafir. On the outside of the ring, PAC arrived to take out Cassidy, only to walk right into a flying knee from O’Reilly coming off the apron. Unfortunately for O’Reilly, Castagnoli also arrived at ringside and flattened him with an uppercut as the referee remained distracted by Shafir. O’Reilly was tossed back in the ring, so Garcia quickly covered him for the win.

After the match, the Death Riders continued the attack until Roderick Strong and Tomohiro Ishii hit the ring to make the save, but the numbers were still too much. With the ring cleared, Moxley entered with a microphone. Before he could say a word, Allin’s music hit, and he stumbled to the top of the ramp, still suffering the effects of PAC’s attack earlier in the day.

As Allin labored coming down the aisle, Castagnoli met him with a vicious uppercut. Allin staggered back up and was put right back down with a boot from PAC. As Allin bled from his reopened wound, he continued to crawl to the ring, so Garcia and Yuta attacked, but Allin got back up and pulled his way into the ring, as the Conglomeration and Paragon fought the other Death Riders to the back.

Allin pulled the AEW flag he brought to the top of Mount Everest from his jacket and laid it at Moxley’s feet. The very same flag he promised to choke Moxley out with earlier today. Now, Allin had the microphone, gasping for air from his knees.

“It’s never too late, Jon…to say ‘I quit.’”

Allin outstretched his arms, so Moxley grabbed him and spiked him on the flag with a Death Rider before exiting with Shafir in a final statement before WrestleDream.

Despite this being a one-on-one match, Bayne came to the ring with FTR and Big Stoke, who gave Bayne a microphone. She asked Willow Nightingale how it felt to give everything she had, and it still wasn’t good enough. Bayne continued, “Now, you’re tagging in a new friend, but that doesn’t make you a fighter; it makes you look stupid. I guess I didn’t beat it through your skull hard enough, so maybe watching me tear Harley apart tonight will finally make you quit. It may be fun to play the hero, but your fate will always be the same, bowing down to me.”

Stoke ran down both Willow and JetSpeed, letting them know how much he hates them. He wondered why Kevin Knight wasted his potential hanging out with “Speedball” Mike Bailey. He said they will end this on Saturday and will put their focus back on the AEW World Tag Team Championships.

Dax Harwood let everyone know that “Daddy” was speaking and that JetSpeed had one opportunity to write their names in the immortal book of life. Harwood ran through all of FTR’s accomplishments, as Kansas City let him know that they’d rather have him stay quiet. Before Wheeler could get much more out, JetSpeed, Nightingale and Cameron appeared on the screen. JetSpeed said they were tired of hearing him talk, and it was time to get down to action. Cameron said she knew what FTR stood for, “Fear the Rath.” The four then tried to figure out the spelling issues and decided to go to the ring, but we found out that it was a video from earlier because Nightingale and Cameron were already in the ring and spiked Bayne with a double DDT!

Bailey and Knight were on the top ropes and took out FTR as they were paying attention to Nightingale and Cameron. Everyone started brawling in the ring, as Nightingale and Cameron clotheslined Bayne over the top, and Harwood took a Willow spinebuster, followed by a UFO from Knight!

Finally, the bell rang, and an angry Bayne immediately went on the attack against Cameron. Bayne’s power was on display as she crushed Cameron in the corner and then threw her across the ring. Two bodyslams put Cameron down, but she got out of a third and choked Bayne over the ropes with her legs. Bayne fought back and stopped Cameron on the top rope to bring her in the hard way. Cameron did everything she could to fight from behind, but it was a mistake from Bayne that got Cameron back in the match. She cut off Bayne on the top turnbuckle and trapped her in the tree of woe. After hammering away at the helpless Bayne, Cameron followed with a DDT for a two count!

Bayne fought back with a Falcon Arrow, but this time, Cameron kicked out. Bayne put Cameron on her shoulders and climbed to the second rope, only for Cameron to escape with a sunset flip from the top for a nearfall. Cameron hit a pair of clotheslines in the corner, although the biggest shot was a flying clothesline by Bayne to get out of the corner. Bayne tried to make Cameron bow down with Fate’s Descent, yet somehow Cameron kicked out again! Cameron showed one more flash of hope, but Bayne ended the match with a running Liger bomb!

With two singles wins over LFI, Kingston wants to move on from them and focus on the tag ranks with HOOK. So they’ll be at AEW Saturday Tailgate Brawl if anyone wants some!

Alicia Atout was with Anthony Bowens and Max Caster, who both refused to tag with each other ever again despite two straight wins as a team. As they continued to argue about plaques, Atout reminded them that they may not have much of a say in this. With that, Bowens pleaded to Tony Khan to stop any future matches with Caster, and Caster requested the same. When they both walked away, Atout referred to them as The Acclaimed, prompting them to return and deny the name before leaving again.

Briscoe started for his side but didn’t get to Fletcher until he had to fight through Romero and Archer first. Three days before they battle for the TNT Title at WrestleDream, we then got a short preview of Fletcher and Briscoe before Brodido joined Briscoe to triple-team Fletcher!

Unfortunately, Brody King still refused to dance with Bandido. Fletcher took advantage with a cheap shot and stayed in control until a double clothesline dropped both men. King and Archer tagged in, with King nearly finishing Archer with a Death Valley Driver. Bandido tagged in, but Archer was able to separate them with a crossbody to King. Bandido tried to slam Archer until his already-injured shoulder gave way. Archer, Fletcher, and Romero now showed their triple-team offense to target Bandido, although he refused to stay down!

Fletcher took Briscoe and King down with half-and-half suplexes and aimed at Bandido, but the ROH World Champion was waiting with a kick! King and Briscoe recovered to go after Romero, who Bandido dropped with a press slam! Fletcher saved Romero before he was pinned and then started trading blows with Briscoe in the middle of the ring until Fletcher ended up on the outside. Briscoe followed with a running blockbuster from the apron! Brodido then hit a double-team sitdown piledriver on Romero to get the win for their team in the main event!

Fletcher and Briscoe fought to the back, as Brodido celebrated in the ring. El Clon showed up at the top of the ramp, but that was just a distraction for Kazuchika Okada to attack Brodido from behind. He hit King with his AEW Unified Championship and put down Bandido with a Rainmaker before posing with both AEW World Tag Team Championships just three days before he and Konosuke Takeshita will challenge for those titles at WrestleDream!

That will do it from Kansas City. We’ll see you on Saturday night for AEW Saturday Tailgate Brawl and WrestleDream from St. Louis!
