Join the Nigeria team to face Algeria
Rivers United’s left-back Ebube Duru, Portugal-based forward, and Casa Pia’s forward Savior Godwin are late call-ups to the Super Eagles squad to face Algeria on September 27, writes Edwin Emeanua for Sports Joust.
Head coach Jose Peseiro has invited them in place of injured Emmanuel Dennis and Samuel Chukwueze, who are both expected to miss the game with Algeria.
Savior, who plays in Portugal, is a former Nigeria Under-17 and Under-20 international. He also represented Nigeria in the Under-23 category.
Duru is an influential defender player for Nigeria Professional Football League champions Rivers United.
