The Irish MMA legend, 34, hasn’t step foot inside the Octagon since breaking his leg during his trilogy defeat to Dustin Poirier last July.
The founder of Paradigm Sports Management is just as excited as everyone else for the return of the Notorious.
And he insists that the best is yet to come as he will be back bigger and better than ever before.
Attar told MMA Junkie: “First and foremost, he loves this sport.
“I think that’s the one thing that’s very special about him. It’s why it’s allowed him to reach a level of success that most fighters aspire to achieve. He loves it.
“The second part is he’s a competitor. Does he have more ambitions and goals that he wants to achieve? Absolutely.
“I think that’s what makes it so special and so intriguing and it’s going to be an interesting story, and I do believe it’s going to be the greatest comeback in sports history.”
However, he did admit that he can understand why other people are calling him out as he represents the biggest payday of their careers.
He added: “I mean, Conor said it best: It’s red panty night when you fight him.
“So at the end of the day, I don’t think it’s changed. The color of the panties haven’t changed. So ultimately, I think a lot of the fighters want that.
