When finalized, the switch will see the former Ajax man rejoining his former boss Erik ten Hag, who is the new manager of the Red Devils.
The 22-year-old Brazilian won a gold medal with the national side at the Olympics last year in Tokyo, as well as two Eredivisie titles in the Netherlands with Ajax.
Ajax had rejected several bids for the 22-year-old Brazilian but finally succumbed after Manchester United increased their offer to a price that Ajax deemed worthy.
The Trafford Training Centre near to the village of Carrington in Greater Manchester has been the club’s training ground since 2000, and added a medical centre and sports science department in 2013.
Antony scored 18 goals for Ajax in his two years at the club, after moving from Sao Paulo, where he played his youth career.
During his two years at the Johan Cruyff Arena, ten Hag worked to improve Antony’s game, and it is clear the Brazilian is keen to continue this partnership further at Old Trafford.
